Baptism

 Johnny's baptism went wonderfully!  He is truly blessed to have wonderful godparents Jesse and Tess Carter friends of ours from First Trinity in Pittsburgh.  We are thrilled that they accepted the responsibility to be Johnny's godparents, and I am excited for what the future holds.
He required his pacifier through the whole thing, but he certainly gave Pastor Skip the stare down when suddenly he found his head to be wet.
He wore my baptismal gown, an accident which turned out to be wonderful in the history and symbolism.  I forgot to think about what he was going to wear until it was too late to do anything except pray my heirloom gown was in a keepsake box somewhere around here...and it was!  A quick soak in some OxyClean, a wash, and iron and he was quite the studly little man.
